Chocolate Cookies Recipe

Cookies con sal de manantial

American dark chocolate cookies with salt flakes.

We all know that the combination of chocolate and salt is a delicacy and, when in the form of typical American cookies, crunchy on the outside and soft like a brownie on the inside, you won’t be able to resist.

Ingredients:

- 30 g melted butter

- 1 egg

- 60 g brown sugar

- 1/2 sachet yeast

- Dark chocolate chunks (chopped to taste) 

- 30 g cacao powder

- Sal Ancestral salt flakes

 

Method:

  1. Whisk the brown sugar and egg until mixed thoroughly
  2. Now add the flour, cocoa powder and yeast to the mixture using a sieve.
  3. Mix thoroughly and add the melted butter.
  4. Mix again and add the chunks of dark chocolate.
  5. Shape into balls and place them on an oven tray lined with grease-proof paper
  6. Bake the cookies for 12 minutes at 180 degrees
  7. Remove from the oven and add the Sal Ancestral salt flakes on top.
